Adrienne Burns

After graduating from the University of Western Ontario in 2004 with a degree in Film Studies, Adrienne Immersed herself in the different aspects of the Toronto film industry. Working first for a film based web portal called MyMediaBiz, Adrienne helped to create networking events for film professionals throughout the Toronto film community.

Adrienne eventually discovered her love for directing after wearing many different hats in the film industry. She teamed up with Chris Anderson of East Hill Productions to shoot a promotional film for The Canadian Diabetes Association. This led her to create her own company, AGB Productions, working with independent Canadian musicians.

Ultimately Adrienne wants to create a network of other young filmmakers interested in enhancing Toronto 's film community. She is a partner in the i CAN Pitch project, responsible for promoting the event to students in Universities and Colleges.
